In his personal life, Roman serves as a drug and alcohol counselor at God Will Provide Church in San Antonio, working with people navigating some of the hardest seasons of their lives. He also oversees a faith-based ministry and outreach project among the Guna Yala people — an indigenous coastal community in Panama.
